We've got a selection of hedging and native plants suitable for the Wanaka environment and Central Otago. Operating as landscapers in the area for over ten years, we have a broad knowledge of what works in Wanaka's diverse environment and seasons.
With our beautiful summers, harsh winters, windy springs, and autumns, we have worked hard to meet the needs of all seasons and offer you beautiful, trendy plants that are edgy, practical, interesting, and compliant.

We're inspired by the special requirements of Wanaka Environment, and after spending a few years soaking up the unique season, and watching the planting requirements of new housing estates. We knew it was time to help locals and new residents to plant smart for Wanaka.
Plant Wanaka believes that a garden is a place to reflect, relax & rejuvenate. A sanctuary from the rapid pace of life around us. Some where we can play, entertain and enjoy our family & friends.
Plant Wanaka has been set up to help people find the Right Plants for the Environment they live in. Using our knowledge from developing and growing a garden for ourselves from a bare block, along with helping others to establish gardens of their own via The Landscaper Wanaka Ltd over last 10 years.
We recognise that every garden is different and plants should reflect the purpose for which they are selected, be it hedging for privacy or shelter, planting for easy care low maintenance, feature planting, enticing bees and bird life, coping our extremes of climate, wind, drought, snow, frost, sun.
We have focused on promoting both native and exotic plants centered on hedging and easy care with some interest suited to our environment in our online store. We have access to an extended range of plants from reputable nurseries which we can supply on request.
